Feb 08, 2021 BREAKING: U.S. Rep. Ron Wright of Texas dies of Covid-19 Rep. Ron Wright, R-Texas, has died of Covid-19, his office announced Monday. The congressman, who was 67 and battling cancer, died on Sunday after being hospitalized for two weeks alongside his wife after contracting Covid-19, the statement said. "Congressman Wright will be remembered as a constitutional conservative. He was a statesman, not an ideologue," the release said, adding, "Ron maintained his quick wit and optimism until the very end."
