From NBC's Ben Kamisar If it's Sunday, the coronavirus vaccination effort just got another shot in the arm.
The Food and Drug Administration just approved the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for emergency use, giving public health officials a new option that only requires one dose.
With three different options now out there, Dr. Anthony Fauci has a clear message for Americans anxiously awaiting their shot — get a shot as soon as you are eligible, regardless of the brand.
Fauci told "Meet the Press" that people shouldn't worry about different effectiveness findings from the trials of the three approved vaccines because the vaccines have never been tested side-by-side.
He praised all three vaccines (from Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson) as "highly efficacious" and able to provide significant protection from serious disease. "All three of them are really quite good, and people should take the one that's most available to them."
— Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, on "Meet the Press." With the rate of new, daily cases plunging and vaccinations increasing, there's been some discussion about easing virus-related restrictions.
Not so fast, Fauci said. While things are moving in a promising direction, we've seen many examples of relaxing restrictions leading to a new spike.
Meanwhile, Congress is weighing how to provide coronavirus relief from their perch. The House just passed its relief bill, which is headed to debate in the Senate. Ohio Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown also joined the show to discuss those efforts.

ICYMI: As Ron Johnson turns, so does Wisconsin's GOP As Republicans wait for Sen. Ron Johnson to announce whether he's running for a full term, Wisconsin's GOP is caught in a holding pattern.
But one thing's for sure — the party has made a significant transition away from the one that lionized former Speaker Paul Ryan and former Gov. Scott Walker into one that revolves around one man: former President Donald Trump.
