Jan 04, 2021 Iran ramps up uranium enrichment, seizes fuel tanker in fresh escalation with world powers Iran's Revolutionary Guard seized a South Korean-flagged ship carrying thousands of tons of ethanol in the Persian Gulf on Monday, according to state-linked news agencies. The seizure came hours after Tehran said it had resumed enriching uranium up to 20 percent in the country's biggest breach of the landmark nuclear deal with world powers.
