I am about to ask you, for the very final time this year, to make a $7 contribution to the DNC ahead of tonight's deadline to help win the Georgia runoffs and seats at every level. But before I do that, I want to say thank you.
What we accomplished this year was nothing short of historic. We turned out an unprecedented number of voters, defeated an incumbent president, and put traditionally red states in play for Democrats. I am so proud of this team, and I could not be more thankful for the trust you have placed in me to be your next president.
But Steven, our battle for the soul of this nation is not over. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are counting on our continued support to help win their runoffs and secure a Democratic majority in the Senate. I know there is nothing we cannot accomplish if we work together -- trust me, were it not for the dedication of folks like you, I wouldn't be where I am today. So, with the DNC's final deadline of 2020 in just a few hours, I'm asking you to step up and support our party.
Please, will you make a $7 donation to the DNC before tonight's end-of-year FEC deadline? You know I hate asking for money, but any amount you're able to contribute will go a long way in supporting the critical programs that Democrats nationwide -- especially in Georgia -- are relying on to win.
Look, pundits thought flipping Georgia was a long shot. They counted it out just like they counted out our campaign. And now, we're on the brink of taking back the Senate after turning Georgia blue in the presidential election.
I'm not kidding when I say we owe our success to you, Steven. Folks chipped in whatever they could, whether it was $1 or $7, because they believed -- like I do -- that our best days lie ahead. We have one last shot at flipping the Senate in just five days, and if everyone does what they can when they can, we have a real chance at emerging victorious and enacting lasting change.
