BREAKING: Federal judge reinstates DACA, orders Homeland Security to start accepting new applications

A federal judge in New York said Friday he was reviving the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA, which provides two-year work permits for young immigrants brought to the United States as children. U.S. District Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis ordered the Department of Homeland Security to begin accepting first-time applicants next week.
