In Georgia, record turnout, Black voters fuel Biden's push to expand electoral map

A fast-growing coalition of voters is fueling a potentially major shift in the surprise 2020 battleground of Georgia. They are freshly engaged in the political process and showing up in record-shattering numbers to vote early. And most of them are Black.

Interviews with more than a dozen voters, as well as experts in Georgia politics, reveal a traditionally red state in reach for Joe Biden with just two days to go until Nov. 3. "There has been a culture shift here focused entirely on getting people involved, with Democratic Party values, who had not been invited into the process of voting," said a Georgia party official.
