NOAA's National Marine Ecosystem Status web portal is live!

NOAA NAMES Web Portal Home Page

NOAA's newest web portal is a remarkable tool showing "at-a-glance" the status of seven major US marine ecosystems across the U.S. as well as a national synthesis. The site provides a starting point for you to access and explore a multitude of NOAA websites with information and data that NOAA collects on specific themes and regions.

NOAA monitors and analyzes the widest range of essential US coastal and marine ecosystem data. This compilation of information and data on key marine ecosystem indicators is not found in any other single location.

The National Marine Ecosystem web portal benefits everyone with an interest in the health of U.S. marine ecosystems. Vast amounts of essential ocean data have been distilled into consistent easy to view presentations. Only by understanding the health of our ocean can we continue to act as its steward and the essential resources and communities it supports.
