Four defendants, including two illegal aliens, sentenced for operating decade-long cocaine trafficking network 08/24/2020 12:00 AM EDT Roberto Garza-Mendez, Shadarrian Grimes, Euklides Gonzalez-Hernandez, and Johnathan Pena have been sentenced for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Garza-Mendez and Grimes confessed to having trafficked 200 kilograms of cocaine together during a ten-year span. Metairie Man Sentenced To Thirty Seven Months for Bank Robbery 08/24/2020 12:00 AM EDT Kenner Man Sentenced To 60 Months for Violating the Federal Controlled Substances Act and the Gun Control Act 08/24/2020 12:00 AM EDT Conecuh County Man Sentenced to 37 Months for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm 08/24/2020 12:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Richard W. Moore of the Southern District of Alabama announced that Matthew John Cobb, 35, of Castleberry, Alabama, was sentenced in federal court for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. Cobb pleaded guilty to the charge in April of 2020.
