Also, on March 17, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Office for Coastal Management announced more than $43 million in grants to improve the resilience of local communities and wildlife habitat in the face of increasingly severe and frequent natural disasters. The U.S. Department of Commerce and Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) announced an exciting new collaboration with Amazon Business, The Minority Business and Technology Initiative. The initiative will help thousands of minority entrepreneurs expand their businesses globally and increase sales exponentially through e-commerce technology. Preventing Eavesdropping and Protecting Privacy on Virtual Meetings A new blog post from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) shared several options for holding a secure virtual meeting. U.S. Spring Outlook Forecast "NOAA stands ready to provide timely and accurate forecasts and warnings throughout the spring," said Neil Jacobs, Ph.D., acting NOAA administrator.
