To stem the coronavirus spread, President Donald Trump has approved additional travel restrictions on Iran that would bar any foreigner who has visited that country in the last two weeks from entering the U.S.Vice President Mike Pence, who is leading the administration's response to the coronavirus outbreak, also said during a news conference at the White House that the U.S. government was now advising Americans not to visit affected areas in South Korea and Italy. Travel from China to the U.S. has already been restricted and Trump said he was also looking at restrictions on entry from America's southern border. |
