Not the inequality and division we see today, but the common vision of America we have for our children and grandchildren. There's no question that these last few years have been tough. But what the most difficult moments in my life have taught me is that our challenges make us stronger. It's my hope that our party's eventual nominee for president -- whether it's me or one of my fellow candidates -- will use the lessons we've learned to bring us together and restore the soul of this nation.
