विदेश मंत्रालय ने आज कुवैत सिटी स्थित अमेरिकी दूतावास के संचालन को निलंबित करने की घोषणा की है।

हालांकि अमेरिकी कर्मियों को किसी भी प्रकार की चोट पहुंचने की कोई सूचना नहीं है, लेकिन विदेश में अमेरिकी नागरिकों की सुरक्षा हमेशा से अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्रालय की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता रही है।

कुवैत के लिए यात्रा परामर्श 'लेवल 3: यात्रा पर पुनर्विचार करें' बना हुआ है। अमेरिकी नागरिकों को travel.state.gov पर नवीनतम यात्रा परामर्श और देश संबंधी जानकारी देखनी चाहिए।

कुवैत में रह रहे अमेरिकी नागरिकों को – यदि वे सुरक्षित रूप से ऐसा कर सकते हों – कमर्शियल या अन्य उपलब्ध परिवहन विकल्पों का इस्तेमाल करते हुए देश छोड़ देना चाहिए। जो अमेरिकी नागरिक वहां से निकलने में असमर्थ हैं, वे वहीं अपने स्थान पर सुरक्षित बने रहें।

Evgenii Ptitsyn, 43, administered the sale, distribution, and operation of Phobos ransomware. Takeshi Ebisawa, a Japanese national, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his participation in a conspiracy to traffic nuclear materials, including uranium and weapons-grade plutonium, from Burma to other countries, as well as his participation in international narcotics trafficking, weapons, and money laundering crimes. Ebisawa previously pleaded guilty to six counts for those offenses before U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon for the Southern District of New York.
