President Donald Trump begged Georgia's secretary of state to overturn the election results in a remarkable, hourlong phone call in which the president made various false claims about voter fraud and accused the Republican official of criminal acts. In the call, obtained by NBC News on Sunday, Trump told Brad Raffensperger that, "There's no way I lost Georgia. There's no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes." Trump has repeatedly attacked Raffensperger and other top Georgia officials in the weeks since President-elect Joe Biden was declared the winner there. |
