Nicaraguan Illegal Alien Guilty of Firearm Possession 04/03/2026 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – United States Attorney David I. Courcelle announced that FRANDER ULISES ESPINOZA-RUGAMA ("ESPINOZA- RUGAMA"), age 29, a native of Nicaragua, pleaded guilty on March 31, 2026, before U.S. District Judge Brandon S. Long to being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(5)(A) and 924(a)(8).
