CLICK TO SUBSCRIBE   Recommended by  Feed refresher … SportsNet via @GinoHard_ Listen up …  CHIRPING: Everyone knows that the Stanley Cup playoffs can get pretty intense, and that’s exactly what happened on Tuesday night as the Lightning beat the Canadiens in overtime to tie their first round series 1-1. Things got chippy in the first period with a number of players earning penalties during a scrum that resulted in a very amusing clip of Corey Perry and Brandon Hagel shouting at a penalty box full of Montreal players, who were completely ignoring them.  MORE LIKE W-ETS: The Mets did it. They really did it. On Wednesday night they did the unthinkable and they beat the Twins. People said it couldn’t be done, but they actually outscored another team in a baseball game for the first time in two weeks. Clay Holmes started on the mound and pitched seven innings, giving up just two earned runs. If they beat the Twins again tonight they’ll win their third series of the year with the equally bad Rockies coming to town this weekend. Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but the Mets might not even be in last place in a few days because the Phillies now have the longest losing streak in baseball after dropping their eighth straight game last night.  Get the print edition of Sports Illustrated delivered to your door. NFL: NFL Draft—8 p.m. ET—ESPN, ABC, NFL Network Watch the first round of the ‘26 NFL draft tonight if you don’t have enough Roger Goodell in your life And make sure to follow along with the Sports Illustrated NFL Draft Tracker.  NBA:  New York Knicks @ Atlanta Hawks—7 p.m. ET; Prime Video If CJ McCollum is uncomfortable being a villain in New York, does he want to be a hero in Atlanta? He’s averaging 29 points in two games while the Hawks split the first two games at Madison Square Garden. Whoever wins this game will only need to win two of the next four games to win the series. It’s true. We’ve run the numbers multiple times to confirm. Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors—8 p.m. ET; Prime Video The Raptors seem pretty overmatched in this series and Brandon Ingram is having a really bad series, so if Toronto doesn’t win this game it will probably be 1-2-3 Cancun this weekend.  Denver Nuggets @ Minnesota Timberwolves—9:30 p.m. ET; Prime Video You’ll miss this matchup when one of these teams moves on to the next round, which is why you should probably buy the entire series on Prime. That way you can binge it whenever you need something to watch this summer.  MLB: New York Yankees @ Boston Red Sox—6:10 p.m. ET; Fox, FS1 Need a break from high-pressure playoff basketball and hockey, but still want to see something with the potential to make people from Boston sad? Tune in to watch the Yankees try to complete an early season sweep of the Red Sox.  NHL:  Buffalo Sabres @ Boston Bruins—7 p.m. ET; TNT, truTV, HBO Max Carolina Hurricanes @ Ottawa Senators—7:30 p.m. ET; TNT, truTV, HBO Max Colorado Avalanche @ Los Angeles Kings—10 p.m. ET; TNT, truTV, HBO Max The Avalanche won both games at home 2-1 to take a 2-0 lead over the Kings.
