ABINGDON, Va. – The first defendant sentenced for conspiring with Dr. Rotimi Iluyomade, an Annandale-based doctor convicted of distributing more than 7,000 oxycodone pills, 34,000 milliliters of hydrocodone-chlorpheniramine solution (also known as "Tussionex"), and 107,000 milliliters of promethazine-codeine solution (also known as "lean"), will serve 42 months in federal prison and forfeit $100,000 to the government.Zion Oluwademilade Adeduwon, 24, of Bowie, Md., was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Roanoke. Adeduwon pled guilty in April 2025 to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone and hydrocodone-chlorpheniramine solution, and to obtain possession of promethazine-codeine by fraud. He is the first of the co-conspirators charged with drug distribution to be sentenced.
