In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live Markets are in meltdown mode as a sudden global oil supply scare tied to the escalating Iran–U.S. conflict sends crude prices ripping higher. Brent crude briefly pushed back above $100 per barrel, while Oman crude for May delivery settled near $134.75. The pain is bad enough that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is reportedly exploring ways to tamp down oil prices through financial markets, including interventions in crude futures. Many on Wall Street are warning that could backfire in a big way. There’s no easy resolution that we can predict from here. Especially as the conflict stretches on without a clear end in sight. Uncertainty always breeds panic. But here at Masters in Trading, our playbook is the same as ever. We don’t let panic control our investing decisions.
