D.C.-area feds will get early dismissal due to severe weather

Federal employees in the Washington, D.C., metro area are getting an early dismissal on Monday, due to severe weather expected to hit the region in the afternoon and evening. The Office of Personnel Management announced the early dismissal in a social media post on X, stating that federal employees in the D.C. region should leave their worksites no later than 2 p.m., at which point federal offices will be closed for the rest of the day.
