Earlier today, in federal court in Central Islip, a 12-count indictment was unsealed charging Tyrone Stylistic Crooks with multiple counts of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, and transportation for prostitution. The charges in the indictment stem from Crooks's sex trafficking of five victims, including three minor girls who were between the ages of 14 and 17 years old at the time of the alleged crimes.
Jurors found Samuel Davis guilty of one count of deprivation of rights under color of law, one count of witness tampering and one count of falsifying records in a federal investigation.
U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced today that Zaid Mendoza a/k/a Diamond, 47, of Jamestown and Falconer, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. to narcotics conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, 400 grams or more of fentanyl, 500 grams or more methamphetamine, and heroin, and three counts of sex trafficking by force. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years and a maximum of life.
