Earlier today, at the federal courthouse in Brooklyn, an indictment was unsealed charging Rafael Hernandez, also known as "Cap" and "Ralphy," and Joibel Perez, also known as "J.P.," with multiple crimes relating to the February 26, 2021 murder of Akil Kornegay in Queens, New York.

United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, and Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI"), James C. Barnacle, Jr., announced today the unsealing of an Indictment charging TEDDY CACERES, a/k/a "Tito," with distribution of narcotics resulting in death in connection with the April 13, 2025, fentanyl overdose death of a resident of Yorktown Heights, New York.

A Bolivian national currently residing in Tulsa and wanted by the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) was charged by Criminal Complaint for receiving, distributing, and possessing child sexual abuse material.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Michael Dino Peraino, 64, of Willcox, Arizona, was sentenced on Feb. 9, 2026, by U.S. District Judge Scott H. Rash to 156 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Peraino previously pleaded guilty to Bank Robbery.
