This lot contains two MOTO Moto-Carts. These are electric-powered material handling carts with a maximum capacity of 1500 lbs on level grade and 1000 lbs up to 6% grade. Both units include keys but the battery functionality and charging capability are unknown.

Inspection and Removal

  • Inspection and Removal: Available Monday through Friday, 8AM-3PM EDT, by confirmed appointment only. The site is closed on federal holidays. Contact the property custodian (listed below) to schedule an appointment.
  • Property Inspection: Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to placing a bid to evaluate its condition and suitability. By bidding without an inspection, bidders assume the risk of potential omissions in the description.
  • Removal Responsibilities: The successful bidder is solely responsible for all aspects of removal, including packing, crating, banding, loading, and shipping. The agency will not provide assistance.
  • Authorized Third-Party Removal: The authorized third-party agent must present a Letter of Authorization from the high bidder (see terms and conditions for details), a copy of the purchaser's receipt, and a valid photo ID at the time of removal.
  • If using a third party, the Bill of Lading must be sent to the property custodian.

1 Dividella NTX Cartoner (2022). Equipment: Koeber- Dividella NTX Cartoner (Model NepTOPx). The cartoner is approximately 34 ft long and 10 ft wide. Used. Repairs may be required.  

Insurance requirements for winning bidder:

Minimum of $2 million of liability insurance.

Permissible building alterations (removing walls, etc):

Alterations permissible to the extent necessary to remove the equipment.

Alteration to building must be returned to its original state. If walls need to be removed, they must be put back up in the same condition and configuration as originally found. Floors must be repaired if damaged. 

Assembly/removal must be completed in a manner that minimizes disruption and alteration to the existing building. 

Bidder Must agree in writing that the equipment will remain in the U.S. or its territories. ****Due to homeland security rules and regulations, the successful bidder of this lot will be required to sign a medical statement of intent before attempting to remove this property from its current site. Submit statement to charmaine.bailey@gsa.gov.****

-Winning bidder is fully responsible for removal of equipment without assistance from the building owner other than their providing access.

-All electrical work must be performed with appropriately licensed electricians, and any wiring must be secured and contained to ensure no exposed wiring when work is complete.

-Must have an appropriately licensed general contractor perform work in collaboration with building owner's partner company to ensure maintenance of clean room viability (e.g., maintain viability for current good manufacturing practices regulations).

-Bidder must supply rigging and any other equipment necessary for removal to maintain the integrity of the facility.

Must coordinate with the building owner to provide access and supervision during regular business hours: M-F 9am-5pm EST unless otherwise agreed to by the facility owner. This will be accomplished through contacting the custodian listed.

Strict 30-days(calendar) period to remove equipment will be enforced.
