View as a webpage February. 19, 2026 12 Projects Awarded $4.8 Million to Advance American High-Performance Computing   The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Office (AMMTO) and Industrial Technologies Office (ITO) today announced the selection of 12 projects across 7 states to receive a total of $4.8 Million in federal funding that will harness the processing power of the world's most powerful supercomputers to strengthen America's manufacturing competitiveness. The work is supported through DOE's High-Performance Computing for Manufacturing (HPC4Mfg) program within its High-Performance Computing for Energy Innovation (HPC4EI) initiative. The selected teams will work with staff from one or more of DOE's national laboratories to advance the development and optimization of: Artificial Intelligence (AI) 🤖 Machine Learning 🧠 Digital Simulations. 💻 Learn more about the selected projects. Also, the HPC4EI initiative will be meeting on February 24-26, 2026, for an exciting in-person workshop to review program operations and explore future directions.
