Western District of Texas Prosecutors File 229 New Immigration Cases in One Week 01/20/2026 07:00 AM EST Federal prosecutors in the Western District of Texas filed 229 new immigration and immigration-related criminal cases from Jan. 9 to Jan. 15.  FIFTEEN-YEAR SENTENCE FOR MARIANNA MAN IN METHAMPHETAMINE DISTRIBUTION AND PRISON CONTRABAND CONVICTIONS 01/20/2026 07:00 AM EST TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Bertram Jerrell Williams, 50, of Marianna, Florida, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on April 16, 2025, and pleading guilty to possession of contraband by a federal prisoner on November 13, 2025.
