Customs Broker Sentenced to More Than 4 Years in Federal Prison for Defrauding Clients Out of Millions of Dollars and Cheating on Taxes 12/18/2025 07:00 AM EST A Riverside County man and customs broker was sentenced today to 51 months in federal prison for defrauding his clients – businesses who ship goods into the United States from foreign countries – out of more than $5 million, including after he already had been indicted on federal fraud charges, and to committing more than $1 million in tax evasion.
