District of Arizona Charges 174 Individuals for Immigration-Related Criminal Conduct this Week 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST PHOENIX, Ariz. – During the week of enforcement operations from November 15, 2025, through November 21, 2025, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Arizona brought immigration-related criminal charges against 174 individuals. Specifically, the United States filed 102 cases in which aliens illegally re-entered the United States, and the United States also charged 52 aliens for illegally entering the United States. In its ongoing effort to deter unlawful immigration, the United States filed 17 cases against 19 individuals responsible for smuggling illegal aliens into and within the District of Arizona. Protecting law enforcement officers is a key part of border vigilance, and federal prosecutors also charged one defendant for assaulting a Border Patrol agent. Guatemalan National Charged with Illegally Reentering U.S. and Making False Statements on Immigration Applications 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST MARCOS ISMALEJ IXPANCOC, also known as Marcos Hernandez Lopez and Jose Ernandez, 39, a citizen of Guatemala residing in Stamford, has been charged by federal criminal complaint with illegally reentering the United States after being deported and making false statements on applications for immigration benefits. Western District of Texas U.S. Attorney's Office Files Over 230 New Immigration Cases This Week 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST Federal prosecutors in the Western District of Texas filed 233 new immigration and immigration-related criminal cases from Nov. 14 to Nov. 20.  Dominican National Indicted for Fentanyl Distribution 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST BOSTON – A Dominican national unlawfully residing in Worcester has been indicted by a federal grand jury for distributing fentanyl pills. Indian National Indicted for Assault Aboard Aircraft 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST BOSTON – An Indian national was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday for allegedly stabbing two minor victims with a metal fork while on board a Lufthansa flight from Chicago to Germany on Oct. 25, 2025. The defendant was previously admitted to the United States on a student visa and was enrolled in a master's program in biblical studies. At the time of the alleged incident, the defendant did not have lawful status in the United States.
