Heap, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, today announced that, through a civil asset forfeiture action, the government has forfeited, liquidated, and returned approximately $84,327.50 to a victim of cryptocurrency theft.  The United States Files Civil Forfeiture Complaint Seeking to Forfeit $4 Million in Properties Purchased with Funds Related to Fraud Scheme 11/21/2025 07:00 AM EST The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon filed a civil forfeiture complaint today against two properties located in Provo, Utah, purchased as part of an alleged multi-layered scheme to defraud the United States and a nonprofit organization.
