USPTO Alert Assignment Recordation Branch Call Center Hours Change Starting on December 29, 2025, the Assignment Recordation Branch Call Center is changing its hours of operation.  Assistance will be available Monday through Friday (except federal holidays) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. ET (instead of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET).  By shifting hours, the Branch will be able to: Ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and consistently; Allocate staff resources more efficiently during peak customer demand hours; and Maintain service quality while minimizing the impact of staffing limitations.
