  • # new influenza cases: 18
  • # new novel influenza A cases: 0

Monthly reports will be sent the first Tuesday of each month through the summer.

Due to the increased risk of novel influenza A viruses from bird, agriculture, and swine exposure, please send all influenza A and influenza B positive specimens to Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL) for confirmation during summer months. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to influenza.dhhs@maine.gov.
