Romanian Man Guilty Of Access Device Fraud 09/03/2025 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that on August 19, 2025, Romanian national, ANDREI FAGARAS ("FAGARAS"), age 35, pled guilty to the three-count indictment, charging him with access device fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1029(a)(4). Honduran National Sentenced for Illegal Reentry into The United States 09/03/2025 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – Acting U.S. Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that WILMER ANTONIO GARCIA-AQUINO ("GARCIA-AQUINO"), age 43, a citizen of Honduras, was sentenced on August 21, 2025, for illegal reentry of a removed alien, in violation of Title 8, United States Code, Sections1326(a) and 1326(b)(1).  Honduran National Sentenced For Illegal Reentry 09/03/2025 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that, Jorge Luis Villanueva ("Villanueva"), age 35, was sentenced on August 14, 2025, by United States District Judge Carl J. Barbier, after previously pleading guilty to illegal reentry of a removed alien, in violation of Title 8, United States Code, Section 1326(a) and Title 8, United States Code, Section 1326(b)(1).
