Marietta Man Convicted of $9.6 Million PPP Loan Fraud and $3.4 Million Tax Fraud Schemes 07/30/2025 08:00 AM EDT Following a weeklong trial, Carl Delano Torjagbo, a/k/a Karl Lucius Delano, was convicted by a federal jury of bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering after obtaining a fraudulent $9.6 million Paycheck Protection Program ("PPP") loan and filing fraudulent tax returns that generated a $3.4 million IRS refund. Former Manager Charged with Embezzling $500,000 from Gainesville Trucking Company 07/30/2025 08:00 AM EDT A former operations manager at Tribe Transportation, Dustin Jarrard, was arraigned on federal charges after he allegedly embezzled more than half a million dollars from the company.
