Former CBP Officer Sentenced for Smuggling Cocaine from the U.S. Virgin Islands to Atlanta 07/09/2025 08:00 AM EDT Ivan Van Beverhoudt, 45, a former U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, will serve a 20-year prison sentence following his convictions for importing and possessing with intent to distribute over 15 kilograms of cocaine.
