Sedalia Man Charged with Illegally Possessing Firearm 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT Kenkori Lenell Grant Jr., 23, Sedalia, Mo., charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm following an investigation into a shooting in downtown Springfield on July 20, 2025.  Spalding, Nebraska Man Sentenced for Distribution of Fentanyl 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Tanner Hudson, 27, of Spalding, Nebraska, was sentenced July 24, 2025, in federal court in Lincoln for distribution of fentanyl.  United States District Judge Susan M. Bazis sentenced Hudson to 192 months' imprisonment.  There is no parole in the federal system. After Hudson is released from prison, he will begin a 3-year term of supervised release.  Former New Orleans Attorney Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison For Commodity Exchange Act Violation 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT NEW ORLEANS, LA – Acting U.S. Attorney Michael M. Simpson announced that MICHAEL BRIAN DEPETRILLO, ("DEPETRILLO"), age 43, from New Orleans, was sentenced on July 23, 2025 for violating the Commodity Exchange Act, in violation of Title 7, United States Code, Section 13(a).  Manchester Man Sentenced to 7 Years in Federal Prison for Conspiracy to Distribute More Than 3 Pounds of Methamphetamine 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT Violent Career Criminal Sentenced to Eight Years in Federal Prison for Setting Fire to IndyGo Bus and Bus Station 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT Hollidaysburg Lawyer Pleads Guilty to Forging U.S. District Judge's Signature 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT Omaha Man Sentenced to 360 months for Production of Child Pornography 07/29/2025 08:00 AM EDT United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Daron J. Brown (Brown), age 34, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on July 23, 2025, in federal court in Omaha, for production of child pornography.  United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher sentenced Brown to 360 months' imprisonment.  There is no parole in the federal system. After Brown's release from prison, he will begin a lifetime term of supervised release.
