The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MinAF) requires transshipments of non-heat-treated poultry products to originate and ship from states/regions that are free of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI). Transshipments of heat-treated poultry products are allowed from HPAI-restricted states/regions as long as the competent authority certifies that the product was treated according to MinAF's time/temperature parameters. Additionally, according to Turkish requirements, the endorsement date on the export certificate must be prior to the date on the bill of lading.
