Man Who Attempted to Stab Flight Attendant and Open Airplane Door Mid-Flight Pleads Guilty 05/13/2025 08:00 AM EDT BOSTON – A Leominster, Mass. man pleaded guilty today in connection with an incident in which he attempted to open an emergency exit door while aboard a United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Boston and then attempted to stab a flight attendant in the neck with a broken metal spoon.
