St. Augustine Felon Sentenced To More Than Four Years For Illegally Possessing And Selling Firearms 05/21/2025 08:00 AM EDT Jacksonville, Florida – U.S. District Judge Harvey Schlesinger has sentenced Alton Wayne Cope, III (64, St. Augustine) to four years and three months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and conspiring to deal firearms without a license. Cope entered a guilty plea in October 2024.
