NOW OPEN: FY 2025 Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response Program OVW's Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response (ICJR) Program is now accepting applications. The purpose of the ICJR Program is to assist state, local, and Tribal governments and courts to improve the criminal justice response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious violations of criminal law, and to seek safety and autonomy for victims. Eligible applicants include eligible states and territories, units of local government, Tribal governments, courts, victim service providers, faith-based and community organizations, and nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status. Expected Award Period: 36 months Expected Award Amounts: $500,000 to $1 million Important Dates and Information - A recorded pre-application information session is expected to be available on the OVW Website on May 13, 2025

- Application deadline for Grants.gov: June 16, 2025 – 11:59 p.m. ET
- Application deadline for JustGrants: June 18, 2025 – 8:59 p.m. ET
To submit an application, all applicants must register online with the System for Award Management (SAM) and with Grants.gov. To ensure sufficient time to complete the registration process, applicants should register online with SAM and with Grants.gov immediately, and by May 27, 2025.
