But what’s happening now is far more revealing...
| | | | | | | | | | | You probably remember Michael Burry.
He's the guy who made hundreds of millions betting against the housing market in 2008.
Christian Bale played him in "The Big Short."
Well, guess what he's been doing this year?
Betting against NVIDIA.
And according to his latest SEC filing, those put positions paid off big when NVDA dropped 37% from January through April. | | | | |
|
|
|
| | | | Now here's the part that should make you sit up and pay attention...
Nobody knows if Burry is still short NVIDIA or if he closed those trades.
But with earnings hitting Wednesday, I'm not waiting around to find out what he or any of his Wall Street friends are thinking.
I'm watching what they're actually doing.
Right now, my proprietary scanner is picking up massive “shadow sweeps” across 16 different options exchanges.
When someone spreads a single trade across multiple exchanges at the exact same millisecond... they're trying to not disrupt the market.
And we can assume the only reason to hide a trade like that is if you know something the rest of the market doesn't.
Think about it...
Why would you break up a $400,000 options trade into 32 identical pieces and execute them across 17 different exchanges?
My guess is they are trying to front-run the next major news event.
That's exactly what happened with Viking Cruises... someone bet nearly half a million against the stock 24 hours before it crashed 71%.
Same pattern showed up before Cloudflare's surprise earnings beat sent it up 87.5% overnight.
And right now, with NVIDIA earnings just days away, these same shadow sweeps are lighting up my scanner again.
On Tuesday at 2 PM Eastern, I'm going LIVE to track this activity in real-time.
You'll see exactly where Wall Street might be hiding their next BIG trade…
And more importantly, you'll see exactly how to front-run these trades before the major moves happen.
Whether Burry is still short or not doesn't matter.
What matters is what Wall Street is betting right now... and come Tuesday, it’s going to be plain before your eyes.
Naturally, I cannot promise future returns or against losses, but…

'Til the next trade,
Lance Ippolito
