Vincent Irving Jones, 33, of Fairmont, West Virginia, has admitted to the possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and the unlawful possession of a firearm. According to the court documents, Jones possessed a quantity of methamphetamine in Marion County which he intended to unlawfully distribute, as well as a firearm.

Jackson, TN – Five people have been indicted in the Western District of Tennessee and are facing federal charges for their involvement in an organized drug trafficking scheme in the Western District of Tennessee according to recently unsealed indictments. The charges are the culmination of a two-year long investigation by FBI's Transnational Organized Crime Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration in conjunction with the Selmer Police Department, McNairy County Sheriff's Office, Adamsville Police Department, Bolivar Police Department, and Jackson Police Department.  Joseph C. Orlando, Florida – U.S. District Judge Julie S. Sneed has sentenced Michael Scheuer (40, Winter Garden) to three years in federal prison for knowingly transmitting a program, code, or command to a protected computer and intentionally causing damage and for committing aggravated identity theft. The court also ordered Scheuer to forfeit his computer, which was used to commit the offenses, and to pay $687,776.50 in restitution to the victims of his crimes. Scheuer pleaded guilty on January 29, 2025.

Orlando, Florida – United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announces that Delta Henry Rushing, II (29, Orlando) today pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity and committing a felony offense involving a minor when required to register as a sex offender. Rushing faces a minimum penalty of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison for the enticement charge and an additional consecutive 10 years' imprisonment for committing a felony offense involving a minor when required to register as a sex offender. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

Tampa, FL - United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announces the arrest and filing of a criminal complaint charging Andrei Saplacan (35, Tampa) with possessing a firearm as an alien unlawfully in the United States. If convicted, Saplacan faces up to 15 years in federal prison.

ABERDEEN, MS – A federal jury convicted a Booneville man for possessing child sexual abuse materials after hearing evidence for three days in a trial before Senior District Judge Glen H. Davidson in Aberdeen, Mississippi.
