DAYTON, Ohio – The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) announced today that the United States filed a civil forfeiture complaint against assets related to an investigation into a potential $126 million illegal staffing and money laundering operation.

A New Mexico man was sentenced today to 51 months in federal prison for setting a San Bernardino County church and preschool on fire last year while children and school employees were inside.

Orlando, Florida – United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announces that Israel Trevino (29, El Paso, TX) today pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine. Trevino's co-conspirator, Lesly Janeth Ibarra (26, El Paso, Texas), pleaded guilty to her role in the conspiracy on February 2, 2025. Trevino and Ibarra each face a minimum of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison. Ibarra is subject to deportation after she serves her federal prison sentence. Ibarra's sentencing is scheduled for May 28, 2025. Trevino's sentencing date has not yet been set.
