As part of her sentence, the court also entered an order of forfeiture in the amount of $4,199,498.42, the proceeds of the wire fraud. Hernandez entered a guilty plea on January 28, 2025. Castro Vasquez was arrested in Colombia in October 2022 pursuant to a provisional arrest warrant requested by the United States and extradited to the United States in April 2024.. Castro Vasquez pleaded guilty on December 11, 2024.
