Highlights are below. 30 states have unemployment rate increases over the year ending February 2025 04/04/2025 From February 2024 to February 2025, unemployment rates increased in 30 states, decreased in 1 state, and were little changed in 19 states and the District of Columbia. The national unemployment rate changed little over the month at 4.1 percent but was 0.2 percentage point higher than in February 2024. HTML
