The Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) is pleased to announce an update on the Lifespan Provider Readiness project, which has been running this spring and will conclude at the end of May 2025. This project has been funded with federal support through the American Rescue Plan Act, Section 9817.
Seventy-one provider agencies in Maine have agreed to receive financial awards and participate in this technical assistance program, aimed at developing their readiness to offer new services under the proposed Lifespan waiver. Ten agencies will participate, receiving technical assistance, but no financial award. We are excited to see such strong interest and engagement from providers.
As part of the program, the following participating agencies were provided financial awards to support their own investment in developing their readiness to provide Lifespan waiver services.
