Detroit Man Sentenced for Role in Drug Trafficking Operation 04/23/2025 08:00 AM EDT Jovonne Haynes, age 30, of Detroit, Michigan, was sentenced today to 13 months in federal prison for his role in a drug trafficking organization selling controlled substances that spanned from Michigan to Monongalia County. According to court documents and statements made in court, Haynes was allowing his apartment in Morgantown to be used for the drug trafficking operation.  Randolph County Man Admits to Methamphetamine Trafficking 04/23/2025 08:00 AM EDT Nelson Cortes, age 50, of Beverly, West Virginia, has admitted to the distribution of methamphetamine. According to court documents, Cortes was selling methamphetamine, sometimes from his home.
