Life Sentence for Omaha Man Convicted of Selling Fentanyl Resulting in the Death of a Four-Year-Old and Sex Trafficking of a Minor 02/25/2025 07:00 AM EST Michael Reis, 29, of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on February 25, 2025, in federal court in Omaha, for distributing fentanyl that resulted in death and for sex trafficking of a minor.  Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska 02/20/2025 07:00 AM EST Acting United States Attorney Matthew Molsen announced the federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has returned 33 unsealed Indictments charging 35 defendants. Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.  Grand Island Man Sentenced to Over 4 Years for Distribution of Methamphetamine 02/20/2025 07:00 AM EST Jose Luis Deleon, 65, of Grand Island, Nebraska, was sentenced on February 13, 2025, in federal court in Lincoln, Nebraska for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
