Highlights are below. About 1 in 3 individuals ages 15 to 24 engaged in work activities on an average day in 2023 03/05/2025 Nearly all individuals ages 15 to 24 engaged in personal care activities (99.7 percent), eating and drinking (95.5 percent), and leisure and sports (94.4 percent) on an average day in 2023. About two-thirds of these young people engaged in household activities (67.5 percent), while about one-third engaged in work and work-related activities (34.1 percent), educational activities (32.9 percent), and purchasing goods and services (32.4 percent).
