Charlottesville Man To Serve 10 Years for Possessing Child Pornography 03/13/2025 08:00 AM EDT CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – A Charlottesville, Virginia man, who believed he was communicating online with the father of a 12-year-old boy and arranged to meet the purported 12-year-old boy to have sex with and in front of the child, was sentenced today to 10 years in federal prison on child pornography charges. Ponte Vedra Man Posing As A Tutor Pleads Guilty To Attempting To Entice A Minor To Engage In Illegal Sexual Activity 03/13/2025 08:00 AM EDT Jacksonville, Florida – Acting United States Attorney Sara C. Sweeney announces that Kevin Patrick Wilson (39, Ponte Vedra) has pleaded guilty to attempted enticement and coercion of a minor. Wilson faces a minimum penalty of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set. Wilson was arrested on July 24, 2025, and ordered detained pending the resolution of his case.
