News Alert: Federal judge orders reinstatement of probationary employees targeted by mass firings at most agencies

A federal judge in San Francisco is ordering several agencies to immediately reinstate thousands of recently fired probationary employees, having ruled that the Office of Personnel Management and its acting director directed those mass firings. Senior District Judge William Alsup ordered Thursday that the Department of Veterans Affairs shall 'immediately order reinstatement to any and all probationary employees' terminated on or about Feb.
