Mississippi Man Sentenced for Bank Fraud Conspiracy and Violating Supervised Release 02/08/2025 07:00 AM EST NEW ORLEANS – U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that JOHN SPOSATO ("SPOSATO"), age 73, a resident of Kiln, Mississippi, was sentenced February 6, 2025 by United States District Judge Eldon E. Fallon to 10 months in prison and three years of supervised release, after previously pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 371 and 1344.  Separately, United States District Judge Susie Morgan sentenced SPOSATO to 6 months in prison, to be served consecutively to the sentence imposed by Judge Fallon, for violating the terms of his supervised release from a prior conviction in United States v. Sposato, 15-134 (E.D. La.).
