Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Mary S. Scriven has sentenced Buddy Allen Travis (42, Bradenton) to 15 years and 8 months in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release, for the production and receipt of child sexual abuse material. Travis pled guilty on October 1, 2024.

Jacksonville, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Jeremy Wayne Leggett (38, Jacksonville) has pleaded guilty to attempting to entice a child to engage in sexual activity. Leggett faces a minimum penalty of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison, and a potential lifetime term of supervised release.

Orlando, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces the unsealing of an indictment charging Bradley D. Burch (34, Apopka), Ronald E. Hubbard, Jr. (37, Apopka), and Douglas E. Arnett, Jr. (33, Orlando) with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, including 10 grams or more of a fentanyl analog mixture, 40 grams or more of a fentanyl mixture, and 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

PROVIDENCE, RI – A Providence man who was the target of an FBI Safe Streets Task Force investigation into drug trafficking pleaded guilty on Tuesday in federal court to a charge of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, announced United States Attorney Zachary A. Cunha.

CINCINNATI – Maurice B. Stewart, 41, of Cincinnati, was sentenced in U.S. District Court today to 180 months in prison for distributing fentanyl, as a result of a joint investigation by Mason Police Department and the Heroin Coalition Task Force.
