Guatemalan National Sentenced for Conspiracy and Illegal Reentry 01/31/2025 07:00 AM EST PROVIDENCE –  A twice-deported Guatemalan national, described in court documents as being "the most consistent member" of an organized group of individuals that repeatedly stole high-end construction equipment, building supplies, and clothing from national retailer's stores has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, after which he will be deported, having been convicted on charges of conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property and illegal re-entry into the United States, announced United States Attorney Zachary A. Cunha.
